Sefer Torah Dedication
Now write for yourselves this song and teach it to the Israelites. Make them memorize it, so that this song will be a witness for the Israelites. (Deut. 31:19)
Four years have passed since the Second Lebanon War and eight years since Operation Defensive Shield in which four graduates of the Yeshiva fell in defense of the country. In their memory, a Sefer Torah is now being written. It will be completed, P"G, on Rosh Chodesh Tamuz.
The event will be attended by the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Harav Yona Metzger shlita, the Chief Rabbis of Eilat, MK Nissan Slomyanski, the Mayor of Eilat, Mr. Meir Yitzchak Halevy and the families of the four kedoshim HY"D.
The Guests of Honor are the Blisko Family from New York, generous donors of the Sefer Torah.
